What is the Prosperity Framework?

A Shared Vision for Economic Development

The Integrated Strategic Framework for Economic Prosperity (known as the Prosperity Framework) helps to guide and coordinate economic development activities for Cape Breton Island and the Town of Mulgrave. It builds on the capabilities of the region’s business community, infrastructure, public sector, not-for-profit organizations and the labour force. The Strategic Framework integrates the input and visions of many stakeholders and uses the existing economic context and economic development organizational structure as the starting point.

The Framework provides a set of common priorities for our region, helping businesses, public agencies, voluntary groups and communities to focus their investment and effort on what will make a difference for Cape Breton – Mulgrave.
